JDElite Flowchart Builder’s Playground Mode gives you access to most features, allowing you to create and edit your diagrams, as well as you can open and edit the different templates. However, file system access is restricted, meaning you cannot save diagrams or import/export SQL scripts.
For a limited time, we’re offering free installation of the File Browser module, which enables full file system access on Windows. Follow these steps to install it:
- 1. Install node.js:
- If you don’t have Node.js installed, download it from https://nodejs.org/en/download.
- A prebuilt version for Windows is available if preferred.
2. Download and set up File Browser:
- Click this link: jdelite-install and save the file in a new, empty folder on your computer.
- Unzip the file and run the run.bat file. If prompted by security settings, accept the prompt.
- A command window will open, and after a short delay, JDElite Flowchart Builder will launch in Google Chrome.
3. Running and closing the server:
- The command window indicates that the Node.js server is running.
- Closing the JDElite Flowchart Builder in Chrome does not automatically close the server.
- To stop the server, go to the command window and either click the Close button or press Ctrl+C.
- 4. You can upload SQL scripts for all supported databases using this link: jdelite-database.
We encourage you to install this module and explore the full capabilities of JDElite Flowchart Builder. Your feedback is invaluable to us!
